Utility Billing Procedures
The Village will be assuming the Utility Billing for water, sewer, and trash, along with customer service starting September 2024. Below you will find the questions most individuals have had concerning the billing transfer.
Republic Garbage & Recycling Collection
Republic Services is the sole-source provider for the Village of Thomasboro garbage and recycling collection. With the exception of holidays, garbage is collected curbside weekly on Tuesday, and recycling is collected every other week. The schedule is linked below for your convenience. Please note: Bulk items are not included in the regular garbage pick-up, and the cost is the responsibility of the resident. If you have these larger items, please contact Republic at 217-367-2278 to arrange a time for these items to be picked up.
