Village Utilities
Utility Rates
The Village handles the Utility Billing for water, sewer, and trash services.
Water Service
- $39.00 minimum monthly fee (1,000 gallons included)
- Overage: $3.00 per 1,000 gallons
Sewer Service
- $12.00 minimum monthly fee
- Overage: $7.60 per 1,000 gallons
Garbage & Recycling Service
- $17.81 monthly fee
- Additional Tote: $7.39 monthly fee
Garbage & Recycling Collection
Republic Services is the sole-source provider for the Village garbage and recycling collection.
Schedule
With the exception of holidays, garbage is collected curbside weekly on Tuesday, and recycling is collected every other week.
Bulk Items
Bulk items are not included in the regular garbage pick-up, and the cost is the responsibility of the resident. If you have these larger items, please contact Republic at 217-367-2278 to arrange a time for these items to be picked up.
